The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), in collaboration with the India Art Fair's Young Collectorsโ Programme, has unveiled a vibrant exhibition titled โRe-imagining A Way Back to Us: Contemporary Indigenous Fashion and Textiles in Indiaโ at the National Crafts Museum & Hastkala Academy in New Delhi.
Opened by Neelam Shammi Rao of the Ministry of Textiles, the showcase presents distinctive design perspectives from across India, featuring labels such as 2112 Saldon (Ladakh), 7Weaves (Assam), and Boito (Odisha).
Curators Sunil Sethi and Sreyansi Singh focus on connecting tradition with innovation, amplifying the voices of regional artisans and enriching the countryโs textile narrative.
Running throughout August 2025, the exhibition offers visitors an immersive journey into the evolving landscape of indigenous Indian fashion.
